South East London has long been an area with people from all around the world and lots of cultures we mostly all rub along well. In the times this hasn't happened, this area has a history to standing up forces that would seek to divide us https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Lewisham

Selpa people are just ordinary people who live and work in South London are deeply alarmed at what is coming out from this government, lead by Theresa May, who when in office as Home Secretary, presided over what was called the "Go Home vans" https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2013/oct/22/go-home-vans-scrapped-failure

Immigration is dictated by economic factors; the pull factors being an economy with jobs that need doing be it serving burgers at Byron, babysitting, cleaning, looking after our health in hospital, construction work, the government issuing edicts like this will make life more difficult for people from abroad who work here. It challenges their status for no good reason. It's state sponsored xenophobia.
