  1. SE Steve Super-South-Easter

Onaiis would like to start a sewing group within the SE15 area. Anyone interested?
She is able to offer a nice place to sew, meet friends and get to know the community and she lives on Ivydale [IMG] If anyone is interested please contact her at onaiis@yahoo.ca
  2. Relentlessly Rye Respected Local

I've been chatting to the parent/school liaison person at Ivydale and she said lots of mums would be interested in sewing. At this stage, not sure if they want to have lessons, or just join a group. Either way, I'm sure lots of them who have yet to join this forum would be interested.

If anyone wanted to knock up a flyer I'd be happy to take them in, get them up on the board, get my Ivydale contact to hand them out etc...

This is a great idea. :)

I am really interested (indeed I was already looking at joining a group in Lewisham), however I am a complete beginner.

I know more or less how to sew a button but that's about it! I would really love to make baby clothes and maybe some soft furnishings too, like cushion covers etc.

Please let me know if I can help in getting the group set up. I have sent a msg to the email too.
