    The promoters say:

The Magners Greenwich Comedy Festival is returning to the National Maritime Museum this September for another five nights of glorious comedy.

From 16 to 20 September, a quality crop of comedians including Reginald D Hunter, Adam Buxton, Rich Hall, Ed Byrne, David O’Doherty, Tim Key, Bridget Christie, Paul Foot, Henning Wehn, Richard Herring, Sara Pascoe, Nick Helm, Luisa Omielan, Jerry Sadowitz and many more will descend on Greenwich’s most iconic location for another round of award-winning comedy in sublime surroundings.

This year’s comedy extravaganza is the biggest yet with the Big Top and Apple Top hosting even more meticulously curated shows featuring comedy luminaries. If that wasn’t enough, there’s also the Magners Orchard – a brand new bar and entertainment area. The cider-centric oasis in the heart of historic Royal Greenwich is totally free to enter and will present a heady mix of music, cabaret, comedy, street food and drink.

10 up and coming comedians are set to go mic to mic this year as they compete to be crowned the UK’s hottest new comedy talent. Magners New Comedy Act 2015 will see the promising acts perform in front of a judging panel of comedy heavyweights, with the final taking place at the Magners Greenwich Comedy Festival on Sunday 20 September.

Festival Producer, Cass Briggs, is counting down to the festival: “We can’t wait to be back at the National Maritime Museum. Last year’s festival set the bar pretty high but we’ve still managed to add even more comedy this year plus the fantastic Magners Orchard so are quietly confident that this year’s edition will be even bigger and better than before.”

The festival will be brimming full of bars, gourmet grub from street food vendors plus an array of delights from a pop-up restaurant giving audiences the ultimate festival dining experience.
