Easter Engineering works between London Bridge, Hither Green, Lewisham and Kidbrooke

    The Lib Dem office at the GLA kindly sent me these details:

    On 29 March, (Good Friday), 30 March (Saturday), 31 March (Easter Sunday) and 1 April (Easter Monday) Thameslink-related engineering work between London Bridge, Lewisham, Kidbrooke and Hither Green.

    New Cross, St. Johns and Lewisham stations will be closed for the four-day Easter break with the following changes to services.

    • Replacement bus services will operate between Charlton and Dartford via Lewisham, Blackheath and Bexleyheath

    • Charing Cross to Gravesend (via Sidcup) services will operate between Hither Green and Gravesend

    • Charing Cross services to Orpington and Sevenoaks - passengers will need to change at Orpington for services to Sevenoaks

    • Replacement bus services will operate between Greenwich and Hither Green.

    • Charing Cross to Hayes services will have replacement buses operating between New Cross and Beckenham Junction, via New Beckenham calling at all stations. There will be an additional Beckenham Junction to Hayes services, via new Beckenham giving connections at Beckenham Junction for trains to Victoria.

    For the duration of the works, arrangements have been made with Transport for London for our ticket holders to use tube, bus and DLR services

    Engineering works between London Blackfriars and Herne Hill

    On 29 March, (Good Friday), 30 March (Saturday), 31 March (Easter Sunday) and 1 April (Easter Monday) There are Thameslink-related engineering work between Blackfriars and Herne Hill

    This will mean

    • All scheduled Catford Loop services between Sevenoaks and Blackfriars will be diverted to London Victoria and willnot call at Elephant and Castle.

    Again For the duration of the works, arrangements have been made with Transport for London for our ticket holders to use tube and bus services between Victoria, Blackfriars and Elephant and castle stations

    Posters will shortly be up at affected stations, there will be driver and platform announcements and our website will be updated, but we are advising passengers intending to travel to allow more time for their journeys, to check with us onwww.southeasternrailway.co.uk before travelling, to follow us on twitter and sign up for email alerts.
